DFCV sells 20,000+ medium & heavy-duty trucks in March, up 4.7% year on year
According to a business express released by DFCV, the company sold over 20,000 medium & heavy-duty trucks in March, up nearly 4.7 percent year on year, and a total of 38,000 units in the first quarter of 2014.
DFCV sold over 5,100 medium-duty truck in March, up around 1 percent year on year, and nearly 10,000 units in the first quarter; also, DFCV sold nearly 15,000 heavy-duty trucks in March, up over 6 percent year on year, and over 28,000 heavy-duty trucks in the first quarter, up 1 percent year on year.
Though uncertainties such as implementation of the Phase IV emission policy across the country still existed, the truck market recovered and showed good momentum in early 2014. In the face of the challenge and opportunity, DFCV continued to maintain steady development.

At home, DFCV remained ahead in the industry in comprehensive brand influence index, and was striving to lead the industry in comprehensive service index; abroad, in the context that DFM forged a strategic alliance with Volvo last January, DFCV joined hands with Volvo Ocean Race to exclusively name "Dongfeng" boat. The boat will be operated by the "Dongfeng team" in the world top ocean race this October to enhance the brand popularity of China's "Dongfeng" commercial vehicles.
